About
I work at the intersection of architectural heritage, urban morphology, and cultural identity, focusing on how Saudi Arabia’s built environment can inform contemporary development and national transformation.
My academic and professional work explores how vernacular architecture is not only preserved but translated into applicable frameworks for modern urbanism, particularly within the context of Vision 2030.
I have contributed to a range of initiatives spanning:
- Heritage documentation and digital archiving strategies
- Design validation for culturally grounded developments
- Urban and architectural research on Saudi regional typologies
- Advisory roles in national-scale heritage and cultural projects
My research focuses on themes such as cultural heritage, vernacular architecture, spatial organization, urban morphology, and socio-cultural dimensions of the built environment, aiming to bridge theory with implementation.
Currently, I am engaged in projects that translate heritage principles into design guidelines, planning frameworks, and experiential narratives, ensuring that cultural identity is embedded within contemporary development practices.
